DGL was familiar with the benefits of MoST software as they had a website built in it for the DGL Bondlast division.
Being a fast-moving organisation it was essential that they could update content in their own timeframe and not rely on third parties. They also appreciated being able to have custom development for various components specific to their operations available without the ‘wheel needing to be reinvented’ – MoST already offered solutions which required only minor work to fit the requirements of DGL.
How are they using MoST?
MoST has always provided for content, updates and edits to be undertaken by the client, but the new version has made it so much easier to do so, with very little training required. As well as being able to manage the website content themselves, DGL also have a MoST registration and approval process for their Bondlast applicators. DGL Group wanted a careers section which could link to external recruitment websites on both sides of the Tasman, making the posting /searching of job vacancies an automated process. We created a web API to download job data relating to DGL from Seek's website and created javascript methods to display that data on their website.
They also requested a timeline which could be updated by DGL staff as milestones were reached, and with the rapid growth that DGL was experiencing, it was also important that their 70 current locations could be easily accessed and updated.
